Budget Committee Meeting

A public meeting of the Budget Committee of the Vector Control District of Malheur County, state of Oregon, to discuss the budget for the fiscal year July 1, 2022 to June 30, 2022 will be held at Masty’s restaurant 1241 SW 4th Avenue Ontario, Oregon. The meeting will take place on May 24th at 1pm. The purpose of the meeting is to receive the budget message and to receive comment from the public on the budget.
This is a public meeting where deliberation of the Budget Committee will take place. Any person may appear at the meeting and discuss the proposed programs with the Budget Committee. A copy of the budget document may be inspected or obtained on or after May 24th at the Vector District Office between the hours of 8:00 am- 4:00 pm

Vector Control District of Malheur County

Vector Control of Malheur County is here to monitor the presence of the West Nile Virus in thee Culex mosquitoes. Once the virus is detected, then the Vector Control will apply pesticides to the proven affected areas as well as continue to monitor for the virus. However until the virus is detected, we will focus our effort on applying larvacides and testing the culex population for the West Nile Virus.
